When you don’t have systems and processes in place - your clients control your business and you end up feeling frustrated. 

Signs your clients are in control:

  • You discount

  • You are on call

  • You reply on their tips

  • You won’t have an increase

  • You create policies and never follow through

 

How do you overcome this and take back control? I’m glad you asked:

  1. Create a set schedule. Will there be times when you stay late and come early for occasions? Yes. If you work on your off days. There is a premium charge for that.

  2. Tips. Your prices ALONE should set you up to win without tips. CLICK HERE for my free class.

  3. Discounts. If you discount your time and talent to please the client, you’re allowing them to control your income. Let that sink in. A mini options menu is the ticket. (this is not on your website)

  4. Increases. You don’t increase because you don’t want to upset Bonnie. Well you’re running a business not a non-profit, and the bills have to be paid whether you have an increase or not. Reassess your prices yearly. Demand will drive your increase. CLICK HERE for my increase system

  5. Policies. Create policies that protect your business and your income. Have clients sign off on an intake form to acknowledge and agree so you can follow through a lot easier.
